Hands on Series: Wet Felting Workshop
Louisa is a teacher who finds great joy and satisfaction from making things with her hands.
“I love wool, it is so versatile, strong, soft, tickly and beautiful. I love to introduce children to wool and through wet felting they get an amazing tactile experience which allows them to build relationships with the material whilst connecting strongly to those participating in the activity with them.” Wool lends itself well to landscape work, which can then be tied in wonderfully with connectedness to place and community. But really the possibilities are endless. By learning the basic principles of wet felting, workshop participants will be able to experiment with other extensions of the art form, either personally or with their young people.
Come prepared to be standing up, getting a bit wet and bubbly, and for a really good upper body workout.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
